The fitting type between the copper sleeve and the hole is interference fit, and the fitting type between the copper sleeve and the shaft is clearance fit.
Gap fit includes a fit with a minimum gap equal to zero. At this point, the tolerance zone of the hole is above the tolerance zone of the shaft, meaning that the actual size of the hole is always greater than or equal to the actual size of the shaft.
During interference fit, the tolerance zone of the hole is below the tolerance zone of the shaft. The algebraic difference obtained by subtracting the dimensions in various directions of the hole from the dimensions in various directions of the matching axis is negative, which is an interference fit.
