Crusher outer bushings are generally made of the following materials:
Tin bronze:
Characteristics: high strength, hardness and good abrasion resistance, good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere, freshwater and seawater, good workability. Tin bronze has a small coefficient of friction, which can effectively reduce the friction and wear with the shaft and other components, and is suitable for high-load, high-speed operation of the crusher.
Application Scenario: It is widely used in various types of crushers, especially medium and large crushers. For example, in the eccentric shaft sleeve of cone crusher and other parts, the tin bronze outer liner can withstand large impact load and friction to ensure the stable operation of the equipment.
Lead bronze:
Characteristics: Containing a certain proportion of lead elements, it has good self-lubricating properties and performs well under the working conditions of high load and low speed. Lead bronze also has better wear resistance and compression resistance, which can adapt to the harsh working environment of the crusher.
Application Scenario: Commonly used in jaw crusher elbow plate bushings and other parts, these parts of the working load is large, the rotational speed is relatively low, lead bronze outer bushings can effectively reduce wear and prolong the service life of the equipment.
Brass:
Characteristics: brass has good processing performance and certain strength, the price is relatively low. However, its wear resistance and corrosion resistance is slightly lower than tin bronze and lead bronze.
Application Scenario: In some small crusher or equipment with higher cost requirement, brass outer bushing may be used. For example, in some small jaw crusher's movable jaw bushing and other parts.
