The role of copper bushing
Supporting role: In the cone crusher, copper sleeve is an important supporting part. Reduce friction: copper bushings and journals and other matching parts can form a relative movement of the friction vice. As copper has good friction reduction properties, it can reduce the coefficient of friction between components. When the equipment is running, the lubricating oil forms an oil film between the copper bushing and the shaft journal, which further reduces the friction and enables the equipment to run more smoothly, and at the same time reduces the energy loss.
Heat dissipation: During the working process of the cone crusher, the friction between the copper bushing and the shaft journal will generate heat. Copper is a material with high thermal conductivity, which can conduct the heat out quickly. Moreover, in the process of lubricating oil taking away the heat, the copper bushing also plays the role of auxiliary heat dissipation, which helps to maintain the various parts of the equipment in the appropriate operating temperature range.
Types of copper bushing
Dynamic cone copper bushing: Located on the dynamic cone parts, it cooperates with the journal of the dynamic cone. The quality and performance of the copper bushing of the moving cone directly affects the precision and stability of the moving cone. During the operation of the equipment, the copper bushing has to bear the weight of the cone, crushing force and centrifugal force generated by the rotary motion and other forces.
Copper sleeve of eccentric copper bushing: installed on the eccentric copper bushing, it is crucial for the stable rotation of the eccentric copper bushing. The copper bushing of the eccentric copper bushing needs to withstand the huge torque and axial force from the eccentric copper bushing when working, and its good performance can ensure the rotational accuracy of the eccentric copper bushing, which in turn affects the crushing effect and operational stability of the whole cone crusher.
Horizontal Shaft Copper bushing: It is mainly used to support the horizontal shaft, which plays the role of transmitting power in the transmission system of the cone crusher. The horizontal axis copper bushing can reduce the friction of the horizontal axis in the process of rotation, ensure the smooth transmission of power, and to a certain extent can buffer and absorb the impact of the transmission process.
